PS I Love You – Starfield 7″

This March PS I Love You, out of Kingston, Ontario, followed-up their 2009 Diamond Rings split 7″ with Starfield, a two song preview of their upcoming LP. Their latest sound to me like their most mature recordings, better integrating some of the band’s metal and punk influences with the indie-rock/pop they’d been highlighting, without becoming any less catchy or goofily romantic.

The single may have popped out in March (in fact, it definitely did), but copies of the 7″ are still available from what is possibly Canada’s best-named record label: Thing Itself.

Vive le Canada!

PS, apparently Vive le Canada is also the name of a Canadian left-wing nationalist organization. Wacky.
