Bank Heist

Matthew Joel is a typically unassuming folk-pop musician who moonlights as
Bank Heist, making bright, beat-heavy electronic house “when the writing blocks hit and the rains of the fraser valley show no sign of stopping.” His first new track, “Sins of the Star Sapphire,” is a fine introduction to these restorative recordings, opening with a couple minutes of pure cabachon pop tones until a heavy dance beat shows up to round out the mix.

Follow Matt on his tumblewumblr, where you can download his old EP Final Crisis and probably find updates on the new one he says to expect, as it comes together.

Twinkle tink,

Dwight
