Active Child – She Was A Vision 7″

Transparent began the year on a good leg, announcing their newest release, Active Child’s 7″ She Was A Vision. Transparent calls it “unearthly golden gospel electronics” and a “soul-soaring pop seance.” The designation “chillwave” still isn’t catching on in my brain, but if that’s what it is, grand; it’s great either way. As always, the 7″ can be downloaded for free, but the vinyl will be available in a limited edition of 300 in the UK on January 11th and in the US by February.

Also, thanks to the crack reporters over at Gorilla vs. Bear and Get Off the Coast, we’ve also been blessed with two gnarly remixes. Consume:
