Washed Out - Life of Leisure

Listening to Washed Out, the recording project of “Ernest Greene,” I realize how much room for expansion some parts of my vocabulary can have. Bedroom, ambient, lo-fi, psychedelic, ambient, electronic, pop, and even West-Coast (though he’s from South Carolina) all come to mind as reasonable descriptions of Washed Out, some being more meaningful then others. Alas, I’m probably just repeating what others have said about music with topical similiarities.

I don’t know if Washed Out’s music has a better genre moniker, but I think you can dance to it.

Washed Out will shortly have a limited-edition cassette and 12″ EP (seen above) available from Mirror Universe Tapes and Mexican Summer respectively.

Farval,

Dwight
